a day and night out.

I already talked about it, but here are some pics from our day/night on the town.

Look at this find that Austin and I stumbled upon on our night walk.  The lady lives just down the street and was just putting this out when we walked by.  She kept referring to the umbrella as "he" as if it was a person in her thick German-ish accent.  I felt bad taking "him" from her, but "he" worked great and she was the one putting "him" in the trash.  Finders keepers!

PS. the table and chairs were ours and know "they" have a new friend.

1. Mom and Dad not only treating us to flowers but helping (ok, doing almost all the work) us put them all in.
2. Mom and Dad driving to us to bring Austin back.
3. Hearing that things went great with AUstin's first big solo sleepover
4. sun all day long and great burgers on the grill- thx drew
5. time to catch up with lots of stuff (some fun, some not so fun- ex. laundry, dishes, messes...)

There are lots of things that we got to do today since Grandma Jo and Grandpa G had Austin. I thought I would just bullet everything we crammed in one day.

• Put Austin down for a nap and left him in the loving hands of Sweet Grandma Jo
• Drew and I went to the mall since it was raining
• Lunch at Olgas without a high chair, bib or finger food (well we did have fries)
• Cinnabon
• Dollar movie
• XL popcorn and soda with a refill!
• Heading home to get ready in 30 minutes for the wedding we were going to (this included pumping, ironing (dress, pants for drew and my hair!), makeup, jewelry, finding shoes, getting camera...and out the door
• Went to a wonderful outdoor ceremony that was dry and full of sun
• Reception in Ann Arbor with an awesome, unique Mexican themed menu. Delicious!
• Sitting with some really nice couples and making some new "friends" for the night.
• Going home and not worrying about putting Austin to bed or him waking up

2. A steady day at work

3. Free bagels and Starbucks at work

4. a stress free day, i am not on call, night after work

5. Drew and Austin having a great day hanging out

1. lots of errand running SOLO!

3. quality time with Amy while all 3 kids were napping (well, at least in their rooms!)

4. bath time with Austin

5. Waching Austin eat his new Gerber puffs

1. one year anniversary of Grandpa's death and the day went OK

2. Family Grocery trip to meijer

3. A hot/quiet shower

4. watching my boy figure out his exciting world

5. Having time to make lots of baby food

2. Making homemade ravioli

3. An early morning with time to go to the mall with Drew

4. Budget and God talk with Amy

5. Less anxiousness and stress

*Really seeing how God longs for our attention, our love....we are his children (put yourself in your kids shoes from him eyes).  I thought taking my Internet break would be stressful, but its just the opposite
