its the little things 5.31

1. Mom and Dad not only treating us to flowers but helping (ok, doing almost all the work) us put them all in.
2. Mom and Dad driving to us to bring Austin back.
3. Hearing that things went great with AUstin's first big solo sleepover
4. sun all day long and great burgers on the grill- thx drew
5. time to catch up with lots of stuff (some fun, some not so fun- ex. laundry, dishes, messes...)

its the little things 5.30

There are lots of things that we got to do today since Grandma Jo and Grandpa G had Austin. I thought I would just bullet everything we crammed in one day.

• Put Austin down for a nap and left him in the loving hands of Sweet Grandma Jo
• Drew and I went to the mall since it was raining
• Lunch at Olgas without a high chair, bib or finger food (well we did have fries)
• Cinnabon
• Dollar movie
• XL popcorn and soda with a refill!
• Heading home to get ready in 30 minutes for the wedding we were going to (this included pumping, ironing (dress, pants for drew and my hair!), makeup, jewelry, finding shoes, getting camera...and out the door
• Went to a wonderful outdoor ceremony that was dry and full of sun
• Reception in Ann Arbor with an awesome, unique Mexican themed menu. Delicious!
• Sitting with some really nice couples and making some new "friends" for the night.
• Going home and not worrying about putting Austin to bed or him waking up

Thanks so much Mom and Dad for making such a fun night possible

3. spending the day in Oxford with family
4. a change to bike 20 miles in ritzy Oakland county subs
5. garage sale find of a hat and toy for Austin

1. the diaper study finally calling me and I'm in!

2. a surprise visit from my friends Carol and Ellen

3. selling 4 of my cloth diapers

5. meeting a really nice mom at group and getting to talk to her later in the afternoon.

1. going up north to surprise Grandma Elsie on her 80th birthday

2. kabobs on the grill up north

3. austin loving his first trip to the trailor

4. austin FINALLY going to sleep (at almost 11pm!)

5. me not being the one having to drive to warren, sterling heights, port sanilac and then back to sterling heights and warren.

1. a sweet lady who picked up Austin's blanket that we dropped on our walk and returned it to us.

2. TONS of mail today (i love when we dont get mail for a couple of days)

3. good coupons in the mail resulting in freebies at kroger

4. talk to aunt chelle on skype today and Austin loving it

5. a nap for me during austins nap time

1. grandpa putting austin down for his nap and changing his poopy diaper!

2. "bread and meat" for dinner, plus lots of veggies and delicious grilled items!

3. more good deals at CVS

4. grandpa putting up a crib for austin at their house (the crib from when i was a baby)

5. drew humoring me and watching jon and kate with me

2. watching austin chow down on ribs and baked beans

3. Austin laughing when Jack bounced him on his first trampoline experience

1. austins doctor check up going great and him barely crying after one quick shot
2. andrew getting his bike tuned up and finding the perfect stem
3. a fun day of shopping and treats with mom and in canton
4. austin taking almost a 3 hour nap after being tortured by his mom and grandma doing #3
5. having a "no hitter" for the weekend. aka, not having to go into work ALL weekend!

1. getting to go to church and not get called into work
2. hanging out with mom all day without working (theme here...)
3. figuring out how to mow the lawn for the first time in my life
4. laughing while "touching up" the spots i missed with the lawnmower with giant sheers
5. a brownie melts meets hot fudge sundae dessert from McD's (hey, i shared it with mom)

1. austin sleeping in past 9am so i could take a shower, get ready and have breakfast before he even got up.

3. leftover time after lunch for a trip to target and cvs with "amy's".

4. getting to teach amy La a little more about coupons and even having two on hand that she could use for her baby food.

1. the boys hanging out in oxford and me getting an evening ALL to myself at the last minute

2. a nice evening including a stress free trip to target, dots (yes, random but i got a cute dress for 1.59), borders (pretzel (not really that good) and a free coffee drink (very good), reading smut magazines and finding pants for austin at toys R us for 1.59 (magic price of the night)

3. getting caught up on blogs and email when i got home.

4. a good nights sleep

5. not having to go to work for 5 days!

2. seeing austin get so excited when i get home from work
